CHEF DE PARTIE

A unique and upmarket estate based in the Franschhoek/Stellenbosch area is seeking to employ a motivated and willing to learn and grow, Chef de Partie to join their ‘family’.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:
Matric / Grade 12
Cooking Certificate / Diploma
Creative, hardworking and reliable
Excellent communication skills
Team spirit
Drivers Licence and own transport (ESSENTIAL)
Fully bilingual (Afrikaans 1st Language)
Ability to work shifts

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists and supports the head chef in food preparation
Preps various elements
Has the ability to take guidance and learn
Ensure plating is beautiful
Helps with menu planning
Oversees breakfast preparation and service
Oversees food preparation, cooking and presentation in the restaurant
Enforces safety, health and hygiene standards in the kitchen
Ensures that food goes to the customers in a timely manner
