Chemical Analyst - Pharmaceutical

Location: Johannesburg.

Description: A pharmaceutical company is seeking a Chemical Analyst to join their team. Key responsibilities will include: conducting QC tests on raw materials and products; maintaining a safe, organized work environment according to lab specific procedures; developing/maintaining SOP’s, work instructions; performing equipment maintenance and calibration and accurately documenting experiments and results.

Key Requirements: A BSc or ND in Chemistry; ability to work in a fast paced environment and at least 2 years’ experience working in an analytical chemistry laboratory and running established methods with standard analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, AA Spectrophotometer, Potentiometric titrations, FTIR, Refractometer, Polarimeter, UV-VIS, Ion-Analyser meter and Viscometer would be an advantage but is not a necessity.

Remuneration: Market related and dependent on experience.

Starting date: As soon as possible
