As part of its strategic goal to become the leading commercial real estate service provider in Africa by 2020, Haussmann is looking to hire a Chief Accountant, reporting to the CEO now and later on to the Group Finance Manager.

ROLE DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Liaise with all Junior Accountants in each of the African subsidiaries and ensure accounting postings are accurate and timely
2. Consolidate all accounts and prepare Monthly Management Accounts per country
3. Ensure that all taxes locally are fully paid on time
4. Ensure that all statutory deductions locally are fully paid on time
5. Manage various bank accounts and ensure cash management is optimized
6. Ensure relationship between holding company and subsidiaries is optimized and compliant
7. Liaise with Auditors when doing the annual Audit
8. Prepare weekly Management Accounting reports
9. Analyze Company financial ratios and make recommendations
10. Manage the Company Budget & Put in place cost control measures
