Our client requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven candidate to take up the role of a Chief Financial Officer in Centurion, Gauteng.

Key Performance Areas

• Responsible for overall company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions
• Directs financial strategy, planning and forecasts
• Manage operational costs, capex and treasury
• Identify, studies, analyse and reports on trends and recommend best practice methods to contribute the achievement of company strategy
• Oversees the I.T and Procurement departments to ensure effective service delivery
• Ensures adequate corporate governance structures are in place
• Prepares various report packs for Exco, Board Audit and Risk Committee’s
• Develop and maintain effective industry relationships with relevant stakeholders
• Performance management of staff

Required Qualifications / Experience
• B Com Accounting (Hons) and qualified CA(SA)
• 6 to 8 year’s executive finance management from an agriculture, manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Strong procurement and logistics experience
• Sound knowledge of applicable legislation and legal compliance acts
• Excellent verbal, written communication skills
• High analysis and innovation
• Results driven
• Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Suite)
