What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the insurance sector. All duties would take place in this context.

* Drive IT strategy for the group
* Integrate IT systems across the group
* Develop an integrated reporting mechanism for the group
* Optimise the utilisation of infrastructure
* Investigate options for workers in remote locations or without access to PCs

Key Job Deliverables:

* Drive a group-wide enterprise IT strategy
* Optimise and enhance existing operational systems
* Create data integration and BI reporting systems

Background work experience:

* 10 yrs senior IT experience
* 3+ yrs as a CIO
* BSC Degree + Vendor Certifications e.g. MCSE
* Systems implementation and integration
* IT best practices such as ITIL
* Business intelligence expertise
* Adv: Financial Services experience

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of R 1 Mil to R 1.2 Mil per annum. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
