Telecommunications Provisioning Engineer

The Provisioning Engineer is responsible for configuration, deployment and ongoing support of Client Premises Equipment, Provider Edge Hardware and Software, VMWare and Linux server environment as well as second line support to the CSOC

Responsibilities

Assisting the PMO and Provisioning Office with documentation and implementation
Configuration of Client Premises routers and switches
Configuration of Provider Edge
Management of the company Server Environment
Second line support
General administration
View daily reports and monitor performance, addressing anomalies as they occur

Qualifications

CISCO CCNA, CISCO CCNP, CISCO CCIE (must have a CISCO registration number)
RHCP, DCAP, VCP, CompTIA A+, CompTIA N+
Experience in the Information Technology sector
Experience with UNIX based operating systems
Experience with Cisco hardware and software
Experience with VMWare

Market related cost to company negotiable on qualifications and experience.  Includes medical aid, pension fund and risk cover.

Must have valid South African driver's license and own reliable vehicle
