A great opportunity for growth exists for the right candidate at the Durban office of a very well known company for a civil engineer/technologist. Candidate must have a B. Eng or B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering, Pr Eng or Pr Tech, minimum of 7 - 10 years experience in Water Services and must be able to work in a team environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Exposure to development of Water Services Development Plans (WSDP) and Water Master Planning for Water Services Authorities.

• Exposure to design, costing and implementation of bulk and internal water supply systems

• Exposure to Water and Conservation Demand Management (WCDM) Principles as well as field investigation audits

• Exposure to GIS and Access Databases for data collection manipulation as well as spatial representation of demographic and infrastructure information all maintained on a defined structured Geo-Database format

• Exposure to Project and Program Management within a local and provincial government environment

• Strong communication and people relation skills

• Astute learner and work well in a team environment

• Suitable candidate must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle and must be willing to travel

• Skill set: Windows Office Software (Outlook, Word, Access and MS Project), Arc View Version 10.1
