Job Description
Liaising with clients / contractors and maintaining key relationships
Ability to deal with and manage Subcontractors
Assess the progress of the on-site work and sort out any problems which could hold up the project.
Effective planning to avoid delays, wastage, material shortfalls, productivity losses etc.
Ability to manage quality of Construction on site
Scheduling and programming of work
Ensure project completion is done on time
Conducts on-site meetings
Report writing & feedback to senior staff as required
Minimum Requirements
Relevant Civils Diploma or Degree
ECSA or SACPCMP registration (Candidate or Professionally Registered)
Minimum of 6 - 10 years experience in a Site Agent capacity, particularly with National Roads / Asphalt projects relating to roadworks, asphalt, chip and spray, layer works, road surfacing.
Experienced in working on projects to the value from R100 million upwards
