Our client, one of SA's market leaders in the Services industry, is looking for a dynamic and professional individual who is target driven with a positive attitude and a passion for sales and new business development. The incumbent is responsible for creating new business and must be accustomed to dealing with high level decision makers, while ensuring consistent and profitable growth in sales revenues.

Key areas of responsibility:

Working with a defined sales quota focusing on initiating relationships with multi-level decision-makers through various channels
Preparing quotes and/or proposals and presenting these to potential clients
Ensuring a thorough handover of the new contract to operational staff in order to ensure business as usual in as short a time as possible
Operating effectively and efficiently in order to minimize the sales cycle turnaround time
Ensuring management is kept informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly analysis

Minimum requirements:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a service environment
Experience in selling of services and new business development essential
Matric
Cold calling and telemarketing
Thorough experience in calling on customers, business development and providing quotations
Building relationships with clients/customers at all levels
Proven sales track record achieving sales targets
Fully computer literate on MS Office, advanced Word, intermediate Excel and basic PowerPoint skills
Assertive and results driven
Excellent presentation, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
Demonstrate ethical behaviour, driven by the company values
Demonstrate innovative thinking and problem solving
Good business sense and a professional manner
Effective project management skills
Candidates must have a valid SA driver’s license and own vehicle
Must have clean Criminal and Credit record
Salary on offer:  Market related CTC package (Includes Provident Fund contribution) + Commission + Allowances
