CLINICAL TRAINING SPECIALIST/CLINICAL FACILITATOR - HOSPITAL (QUALIFIED REGISTERED NURSE)

Description
A private hospital situated in the West Rand of Johannesburg is seeking a Clinical Training Specialist with the relevant nursing and nursing education qualifications. The CTS will be responsible for the effective management of CPD and other programmes for qualified registered nurses including risk based in-service training programs. This will incorporate planning, facilitating, evaluating, quality control and research of internal and external approved training. The successful incumbent will be required to be an effective marketer of the nursing profession.

To be considered for the position you will need to meet the following requirements:

Registered as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council

Registered nurse diploma/degree

Post Grad diploma in Nursing Education

Post Grad diploma in a specialist nursing discipline will be an advantage

Assessor and moderator trained and registered with SANC

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the clinical nursing environment

Research literacy experience

Intermediate computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of stakeholder relationship management

Knowledge of educational and business management principles

Knowledge of the legislative and business climate to general and nursing education

Understanding of change management principles.
Facilitation and assessment skills.
Driver’s license.
