We are looking for an experienced Cloud Services Manager for a Company in Midrand JHB.

Purpose of the position:
Lead, Manage and grow the Cloud Services Functionality of the company

Minimum Requirements:
Tertiary education, preferably in a technical or business degree or diploma
Minimum of 10 years in an ICT related industry, at least 3 of which in a management role

Qualifications advantageous:
Certification in technology specific backup, replication and virtualisation technologies
Qualification of ITIL or similar change management standards
Qualification in SAFe, Agile or other project management methodologies and standards
Additional qualifications towards management or technical degrees
Masters degree in computer science, business administration, engineering, information systems or related field is highly desired

A working understanding of all services offered by the Company
Advanced server replication, backup and virtualisation technology knowledge
Good understanding of data centre standards and best practices
Good understanding of networking and security technologies
A broad base of computer literacy and ICT industry knowledge
Technical Management experience
Deep and detailed understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity concepts
Ability to think logically and work practically through problem solving
Ability to present technology recommendations in a business-friendly and user-friendly language
Ability to foster an environment of employee motivation and engagement
Reliable, responsible and ethical work practices
Ability to take ownership of problems and see them through to resolution
Capability of managing supplier and client SLAs

Duties:
Grow the revenue and profitability of the Cloud Services group, with an emphasis on overall profitability of the service group as well as supporting the revenue and profitability of other complementary services.
Provide strategic direction for all Cloud Services, including marketing and technology strategies and deliver against the approved strategy.
Operationally manage and maintain the Cloud Services group of the company, including staff, budgets and services delivered to the clients.
Support establishment of a 24/7 centralized recovery operations centre to ensure support to global partners and clients.
Lead and manage all staff within the Cloud Services group, including career development, training, evaluation, guidance and discipline.
Ensure up to date and detailed capacity planning models are maintained and ensure delivery against contractual obligations and SLA’s for all Cloud Services clients.
Monitor and report on all equipment and technology components that fall under the domain of Cloud Services.
Provide pre-sales and solutions design support to the sales team as required for Cloud Services, including development of pricing and pre-sales models.
Ensure prompt and well-structured implementation of Cloud Services opportunities successfully closed.
Identify, engage with and take the lead in managing relationships and negotiation with all partners, vendors and suppliers required to deliver Cloud Services in order to ensure high quality services and competitive pricing.
Take the lead and provide champion resources to all new and existing Cloud Services that require development or refinement.
Assist with response to large impact crises as they arise, even if they may be in other Service Groups.

Willingness and availability to travel to other sites and offices throughout Africa and the world.
Must have valid driver’s license and own vehicle.

Salary R70 000 – R85 000 ctc per month
