Minimum Requirements:
Matric
Relevant tertiary degree / diploma
Sound knowledge of operations in clearing, forwarding and logistics
Previous managerial skills in an IS role
Able to create own Standard Operating Procedures and Presentation
Expert skills in Information Systems

Job Description:
Suitably skilled and experienced information systems expert with necessary skills relating to all systems used by Group within RSA, including respective WMS / T&T / TMS / CRM, to take responsibility for:
• SQL, reporting, COGNOS, interfaces, programming, super-user and project management
• Communicating and coordinating with operations, sales, finance and clients
• Co-ordinating technical options
• Roll Out Planning - including co-ordinating meetings and scheduling project /s roll-out
• Monitoring implementations and roll outs
• Providing / co-ordinating suitable training
• Making presentations as required
• Trouble-shooting key system issues
• Make requests for system evolution and ERP interfaces, and monitoring same
• Communicate and apply , key systems applications between Operations , Finance , Sales and Supply Chain
• Communicating and applying key systems evolution and application concerns with international Head Quarters
• Arranging training and workshop material
• Ensuring all staff within organisation (RSA) have under gone Induction Training on relevant systems within prescribed timeframes
• Arrange SOP and guideline material related to all systems
• Ensuring projects related to application of internal / external systems are supported and well organised
