A well established manufacturing firm in Port Elizabeth is looking to employ a CNC Machine Operator / Setter for a FIXED TERM CONTRACT ONLY.

Requirements:

• Must have passed and be in possession of a Matric Certificate
• Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Must be prepared to work shifts and/or overtime short notice
• Experience in the operating and setting of machines would advantageous (i.e CNC Machine)
• A valid Overhead Crane License would be advantageous
• Be prepared to complete an assessment and interview process

Responsibilities / Duties:

• Manufacture flanges
• Required to achieve daily targets
• Set and operate machinery and other required equipment in a safe manner and reports hazards associated with the equipment or its operation to the supervisor
• Clean and maintain safe work area
• Other duties as deemed necessary and requested by the Supervisor
• Machinery operation requires the uswe of safety equipment to include but not limited to: 
• Eye Safety Glasses
• Hearing protectors
• Safety Shoes (loose fiiting clothes and jewelry are not permitted)
