Collections Administrator Internship - Bellville

We need an extra pair of hands to help us cope with the accounts of our fast growing student body. You will support our (Student Accounts and Collections) team by doing their administrative work for them and assist with making calls. That means doing things like compiling information, reporting, collecting outstanding fees on student accounts, dealing with individual student account queries, allocating student payments properly to the correct student accounts, and ongoing admin support and clerical assistance to our team.

Are you multilingual? With good skills in English? Are you computer literate?
We run an internship programme where you work with us for 3 months. We pay a stipend of R3000 per month. And we train you on our great culture and give you real work-skills. If you absolutely stand out, then we might even offer you a full-time position at the end of your internship with us.

The ideal candidate will:
Learn how to operate the Debit Order system - Real Pay. If you have experience of debit order systems, that will be to your advantage!
Learn how to implement the student communications plan for the department.
Compiling data, and create reports.
Provide administrative support to the department.
Assist with allocating fees to student accounts when needed.
Speak clearly, concisely and effectively; listen to, and understand information and ideas as presented verbally. You will work with your team members, and also directly with students.
Work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.
Be able to change quickly with the needs of a growing company.
