Our dynamic Freight and Logistics client seeks an individual with a B.Com Degree, a minimum of four years experience as a Senior Accountant as well as two years Management experience. Good computer skills is essential as well as knowledge of Great Plains. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring accurate recording and reporting of all commercial activities and processes within the warehousing environment, three subordinates will be reporting in. Responsibilities include accounting, administration, purchasing, managing personnel, ensuring target stock levels are maintained, manage costs, preparing budgets and monthly management accounts, handling auditing and writing off of damages, handling fixed cost compliance, handling collections and invoicing and other general management duties.
