SUMMARY

An international waste management firm has a new opportunity available for a Commercial Manager who has experience in the waste management industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong relationships with transactional clients
Responsible for mentoring, guiding & assisting sales staff and administrators
Expected to achieve individual sales targets with required budgeted company gross and business margins
Define the annual sales budget and set the defined targets
Develop a strong sales culture, which drives sustainable financial growth
Responsible for profitability of orders, maximizing the value proposition to achieve the best possible margin
Take a lead role supported by the legal department, in the execution and management of all commercial and contractual matters at tender, bid clarification and negotiating stages
Participate in contract handover meetings with internal participants once a tender or order has been processed, to confirm the area of responsibility, the milestones and the launch execution

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

At least 10 years experience managing and leading high-performance sales teams within the Waste Management industry
A commercial degree eg: BComm Marketing or similar will be required
