Compliance & Legal Administrator

Purpose of this role will be to ensure all administration and system procedures relating to Compliance and Legal Department. The suitable incumbent will contribute to the efficient and effective functioning of the Compliance and Legal function in the Company by assisting in monitoring compliance risks.

Duties:
General Compliance and Legal administrative support
Regular interaction with clients, colleagues and management to ensure the effective delivery of administrative requirements within a specified framework.
Formatting, retrieving, inputting, copying and editing agreements, monitoring and following up on contracts and ensuring it is signed off
Keeping the legal and compliance library up to date
Diary Management and scheduling meetings for Legal and Compliance
General admin (filing, typing, photocopying, binding and scanning)
Create and maintain a register or filling system of important legal documents and other correspondence.

Requirements:
Matric Certificate
Relevant administration or legal and compliance degree or Diploma
Minimum two years’ experience in legal and compliance within the financial services or investment administration sector
Strong office administration skills
Proficient in MS Office
Good communication skills
Good organisational skills
Attention to detail
compliance environment within the financial services or investment sector;
A valid driver's license

Salary negotiable depending on experience
