Responsibilities
- System, Field and Distribution Centre servers: Running of menu driven backups.
- Batch jobs – Running of menu driven procedures.
- Checking of all server backups and reporting errors.
- Checking of all batch jobs and reporting errors.
- Printing, sorting and distribution of reports at central office.
- Server Monitoring.
- Ensure that all processes are active.
- Network monitoring.
- Logging of calls for 3rd parties.
Key Competencies and Qualifications
- Grade 12 with Mathematics.
- Computer literacy: Windows / Office.
- Own transport essential.
- Shift work, including weekends.
- Advantageous: Relevant work experience.
- Attention to detail, able to cope under pressure.
- Ability to work in a team.
