Concrete Technologist based in Amalagam/Crown Mines. Tertiary qualification - Degree/Diploma in chemistry or Concrete (ACT) - minimum of 4 years hands-on experience on a construction site or a laboratory;• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills;Good understanding of laboratory testing;Good verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills;Preferably affiliated and in good standing with the CSSA or similar institution. Computer literate;Valid driver’s licence and must be prepared to travel to projects on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:-Overall responsibility for Group laboratory with research and development goals; Liaison with all stakeholders, including management and representatives of the client;Monthly updates of R&D and site testing.Internal audits at all sites;Ensure QA/QC systems and related requirements are controlled;Development and implementation of Group initiatives into action plans;Do all laboratory incident investigations;
Train and mentor engineers on the various sites;Attend to all other actions that may be CCE related.
