A JSE Listed Construction Company with a leading presence in infrastructure development and construction materials supply, is seeking a Construction Electrical Engineer with solar plants, renewable energy, wind farm design experience to be based in Bloemfontein. The incumbent must have experience in solar power generation specifically PV and Thermal.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must have a B.Sc/B.Eng/B.Tech/NHD in Electrical Engineering
Must have 5 – 8 years’ solid experience in the design of solar plants as well as basic exposure to wind farm design such as cable routing & cable sizing.
Must have extensive experience in CAD drafting & Visual Basic for Applications
Must be in a position to populate and do production of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from a concept or drawing
Must have experience in monitoring PV plants through monitoring platforms such as Solar Log and Solar Edge
