Construction & Engineering Underwriter with minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a Broker environment, handling large construction and engineering accounts, required for the support of the Specialist Account Executive.

Minimum requirements:
• Matric essential
• RE5 essential
• FAIS compliancy – credits and/or full qualification
• Minimum 3-5 years’ Commercial underwriting experience essential
• Construction and Engineering underwriting experience essential

Responsibilities:
• Support to Specialist Account Executive
• General enquiries re Product, Cover, Processes, etc
• New business, renewals, endorsements and Re-broke
• Create risk profile and analyse client portfolios
• Conduct cover assessment
• Request/obtain and assess quotes from Insurer
• Arrange valuations and reinsurance
• Raise premiums
• Cancellations and business retention
• Raise invoices
• Refunds
• Surveys and valuations
