Construction Supervisor - Pretoria
Our client that is involved in the construction of building projects is seeking to appoint a qualified Construction Supervisor in ROSSLYN - Pretoria

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or B degree in Construction Management or equally qualified by experience


• 5 years' experience in supervising and managing building operations
  


• 2 years' experience in building renovations and finishing will be advantageous
  

Salary

• R 25 000
  

Job Specifications

• Responsible for the day to day operations of build sites, including leading and managing crew leaders, volunteers and future/current homeowners on specific construction tasks
  


• Deliver consistent and high quality work utilizing industry standard methodologies and materials
  


• Coordinate with Project Manager on all sub-contractor scheduling and material ordering
  


• Ensure build site has tools, materials and materials are maintained and safe guarded


• Directly responsible for the signing off of permits and inspections
  


• Review and offer suggestions to the project manager's schedule and implement with little or minimal direction
  


• Adhere to safety policy and practices, and create a positive and encouraging work atmosphere
  


• Be available to work after hours as when required
  


• Ability to become certified in department mandated certifications i.e. First Aid/CPR
