Consumer Marketing Manager CSMO - Sandton

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all marketing (products and services) with internal and external partners and service vendors thereby meeting business units objectives by managing outputs effectively to trade and business within agreed budgets and timeframes

  • Meticulous management & handling of all product & service collateral requirements by Consumer Business Unit inclusive of POS, Product material, marketing material for trade and channel partners, Presentation and Training Materials thereby effecting timely trafficking of  all deliverables

  • Effective Delivery and turnaround of all marketing services whether internal or external support through supply chain

  • Build strong trade relationships with external channel and satisfy demand as agreed to by the company

  • Ensure that all key deliverables are in place for ATL,BTL,TTL execution to consumer alongside the company Brand and Consumer Objectives working closely with Product, Marketing, Channel and sales to assess all requirements as to process and execute

  • Close liaison with external vendors-advertising agency, production houses, field marketing team internal resources alike

  • Effective vendor management controlling budgets

  • Establish solid controls and mechanisms with supply chain in order to meet said outputs

  • Budgetary control ,Reporting and administration


  • Degree or Diploma-Marketing or equivalent of 5 – 8 years solid relevant experience

  • Strong Co-ordination Skills

  • High Level of attention to detail

  • Good administrative and business acumen

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Sales focused

  • Detail orientated & meticulous


  • 3 to 5 Years Marketing Services within an agency environment or large corporate marketing department Retail Marketing

  • Traffic and vendor management skills  

  • Strong Management and supply skills experience

  • Good Budgetary skills

  • Strong coordination and traffic management skills

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Preferably FMCG experience

  • Six Sigma-optional
