Content / Web Manager / Graphic Designer
Location: Green Point, Cape Town
Salary: R15k per month
 
Purpose of the role:
We are looking for a creative graphic/digital designer who will see to all in house graphic design elements as well as maintaining and growing our website and e-commerce platform.
 
Requirements:
  • Up to date with industry leading software, visual design and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc)
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
  • Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Experience in setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Must be proficient in:
  • WordPress: working on existing templates and building new from scratch on a boiler plate
  • PHP
  • HTML
  • CSS
  • Search Engine Optimisation
  • JavaScript
  • JQuery
  • MYSQL
  • Others but not must have: Joomla, Drupal
  • Must be able to work with artwork in Adobe Illustrator
  • Advantageous: can build Apps
 
Duties:
  • Designing all marketing materials, Ads and Website content
  • Basic editing of all visual materials for website
  • Run, maintain, and expand our site and online shopping platform
  • Uploading all content onto web hosting platforms
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
  • E-mail marketing campaigns, including designing of html templates
  • Promotion of websites online through SEO/SEM and Google Analytics
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
