Fidelity Security is looking for a Control Room Officer.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Safety & Security Management Diploma or similar
• PSIRA National Key Point certification will be an added advantage
• Valid driver’s license
• Clear criminal record Minimum Experience:
• 3 Years relevant experience in a control room set-up or relevant environment
• Advanced knowledge of CCTV and security systems
• Air travel and fleet management Key Tasks:
• Incident report writing
• Manage vehicle monitory including alert reaction, courtesy calls, driver behavior
• Eliminate risk by identifying and checking NO GO areas and abuse of company vehicles
• Conduct wireless camera monitoring to detect irregularities or incident investigations
• Monitor IT servers
• Monitor vehicle tracking and transportation of equipment/parts
• Coordination of emergency responses, procedures and first answering first distress calls
• Assist with EHS incident reporting
• Co-ordinate emergency evacuations
• Manage Regional anonymous submissions
• Communicate all irregularities to authorized managers
• Recording and safely storing of extracted footage
• Regional video footage, monitoring and reporting
• Fleet management services and monitoring of vehicles through online tracking
• Monitor and report on Regional cross border
• Implement and maintain contact lists for all countries specifically relating to emergency services, diplomatic services, evacuation services, medical alerts, vehicle tracing and all contact details for spouse or next of kin
• Monitor and track labour unrest, political violence prevalence, disease outbreaks and terrorist activity Minimum Skills/Abilities:
• Analytical skills
• Ability to work in independently
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good Customer Service skills
• Good Communication skills
• Proficiency in Business English
• Attention to detail
