Our client, who specialises in the design and installation of solar mounting systems, requires a candidate with a Degree/Diploma in Control Systems (Pr. Eng. an advantage) with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role. Must have Software Design tools such as AUTO CAD and mechanical desktop experience, a strong understanding of electrical and industrial control systems and the ability to liaise with a client one on one. Duties include: analysis of the solar tracker system behaviour and the interaction of single elements, design, review drawings, check, review and verify project deliverables, work with other designers, operations and purchasing depts., development, control and installation of the Solar tracking management system, develop network based communication between solar farms and the office for remote monitoring, oversee all software, electrical design, hardware specs and documentation, work on product research and development.
