CONTROLLER - ADMIN (Freight Forwarding)
Port Elizabeth

Requirements:
Grade 12 / Standard 10 Certificate
Minimum of 5 years Vendors / Creditors Experience
Intermediate: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Extensive experience with reconciliations
Own vehicle with a valid driver’s license
Ability to work overtime and flexible hours when required

Responsibilities:
Ensure Vendor payment processes work efficiently
Receive and reconcile original statements and invoices
Liaise with Operations as well as Vendors to ensure all documentation is received and processed on time
Monitor and control all purchase order variance reports in accordance with monthly and quarterly targets
Report to management on all vendor queries relating to accounts and statements
General administrative duties relating to the position
Request Credit Notes from Vendors
Request & control refunds
Ensure supporting documents are received
Understanding the import/export process and ability to resolve queries by oneself
Being responsible for the queries caused by payments and ensuring that there are resolved prior to the payments being made
Ability to meet strict deadlines and ensure that queries are resolved within the deadlines as set by management
