Established firm of attorneys has an opening for an experienced Conveyancing Secretary. This post would suit a progressive, self starter who is a proven team player and who possesses sound client service skills and the ability to work independently from bond inception to final accounts. A candidate with relevant experience and exposure to a medium volume Conveyancing Department would be best suited.

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years conveyancing experience.
• Conveyancing Paralegal Diploma will be advantageous.
• Must have worked on Winlaw and Ghostconvey.
• Must be very detailed orientated.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to interact with all parties involved; clients, attorneys, banks, agents etc.
• Must be looking at long term career option.

Responsibilities:
• Opening files
• .Execution of deed searches
• .Weekly communication with sellers, buyers and agents
• .Requesting tax clearance certificates
• .Requesting levy clearance certificates
• .Requesting transfer duty receipts
• .Liaising with Bond and Bond Cancellation Attorneys
• .Management of finance for registration
• .Arranging for signature of documents
• Duties include: processing matters from inception to finalizing finances, drafting of all BC documentation including: applications of lost docs, consolidations, sub-divisions, consents, etc
