POSITION: Corporate Finance Manager
REPORTS TO: Head of Corporate Finance
DIRECT REPORT: 0

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage group financial strategy modelling
• Support corporate activity processes, analysis and decision-making
• Support business investment/funding allocation decisions
• Assist the executive committee and shareholders with any ad-hoc requests
• Financial forecasting and analysis in support of a range of company activities, including routine forecasting procedures, strategic planning, and other corporate initiatives
• Performing ad hoc analyses for senior executives supporting a diverse array of strategic business decisions
• Generate and distribute monthly Corporate Finance reports
• Evaluation of acquisitions and development opportunities and strategic partnerships
• Prepare presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors and provide analyses and recommendations to assist with M&A and strategic decision-making

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a corporate finance role, operating in a JSE listed environment
• Banking / Corporate Finance / Private Equity experience
• Willing to travel internationally
• Analytical background: CA /CIMA/CFA/ Actuarial Science

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Experience in Management Consulting or Company Internal Strategy Organization preferred
• Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Finance or Accounting required; CA/MBA preferred
• Mergers and Acquisition valuation and Divestment experience required
• High level of proficiency in financial modelling required
• High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required. Proficiencies in Analytics platforms/data visualization software and Financial Reporting platforms are preferred
• Strong understanding of investment and capital allocation decision-making
• Highly organised and diligent
• Experience working with multiple senior stakeholders
• Professional written and verbal communication
• Team player
