Corporate Underwriter with solid experience (minimum 3 years) from a Brokerage background dealing with underwriting for large commercial/corporate clients, required for a Financial Service Provider based in Cape Town.

Minimum requirements:
• Matric
• RE5 essential
• FAIS compliance
• Minimum 3 years’ Corporate Underwriting experience essential

Responsibilities:
• Underwriting of Corporate / Large Commercial Policies
• General enquiries re cover, product, processes, etc
• New Business
• Renewals and Endorsements
• Re-broking
• Create risk profile and analyse client’s portfolio
• Obtain quotes from Insurers
• Arrange valuations and reinsurance
• Raise premiums
• Cancellations and business retention
• Refunds
• Manage claims
