Large metal manufacturing company based in Wadeville seeks a Cost Accountant.

KPI:

• Matric and a related tertiary qualification
• Candidates MUST come from the “manufacturing industry”
• Up to 7 years working experience as a Cost Accountant in a Manufacturing industry (ideally metal/engineering or related)
• Computer package – Sage X3
• Review all bills of materials and update where necessary
• Review processes, production, purchasing. Imports/exports, receiving, shipping, etc.
• Process all orders on Sage X3
• Prepare and analyze reports weekly, quarterly, monthly and analyze gross margins
• Inventory evaluation and inventory roll forward
• Attend to all stock counts
• WIP clearing
• Analyze cost accounting data
• Maintain internal control of documentation
• Reconciliations
• Cost of sales reports
• Ability to work on specialized projects
