Cost and Management Accounting Degree / Diploma



Skills & Experience:

Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as a Cost Accountant

Strong Systems knowledge



Job Description:

Actively prepare cost estimates on the briefs received from Sales Representatives and Project Managers.

Hands on allocation of group overheads to various projects.

Ensure the submission of all relevant invoices for payments.

Focus on maintaining all relevant source documents and accounting records for audit trail.

Present cost saving initiatives within projects.

Actively report on project profitability vs budget.

Ensure the approval of purchase orders against the budget and cost estimate.

Make sure to prepare the variance analysis.

Ensure the accurate allocation of time and resources spent on projects.

Provide the capturing of invoices against the various projects in the accounting system.

Focus on ensuring and maintaining reasonable profit margins.
