Cost Accountant
Analyse, investigate and report on the costs and variances of production and stock within the business to optimise profitability of the organisation.
? SAP related month-end tasks, processing of Journals and weekly/monthly reporting and costing on SAP.
? Reconciling balance sheet accounts and expense accounts.
? Processing Labour broker invoices and reconciling to statements.
? Analyse, process and report on transport costs and reconcile to supplier statements.
? Prepare weekly and monthly production, productivity, manning and loss figures for management meetings.
? Assist with preparation of profitability and cost studies.
? Assist the Financial Controller in preparation of annual Budgets and quarterly forecasts.
? Participation in annual audits and Financial Year End process.
? General administration and Audits.
Bcom or Diploma in Cost Accounting
? 3-5 years cost accounting experience – (in a large manufacturing environment – advantageous)
? SAP experience essential
