COST ANALYST – 7 MONTH CONTRACT

Leading pharmaceutical manufacturer seeks suitably qualified / experienced Cost Analyst to join their dynamic team on a 7 month contract basis.

Salary: R26K CTC per month (Depending on level of exp.)

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
• Month end reports, reconciliations, variances & journals to meet finance deadlines
• Analysis of variance deviations against standard cost
• Assisting with budgets
• Assist with New Product Costing
• Prepare monthly department expenses reviews with managers
• Assisting with expenses queries from department managers

Qualifications/Experience/Requirements:
• Must have BCom Degree and preferably studying towards CIMA
• Must have at least 2 to 3 years’ experience in an FMCG / Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in costing
• High energy and an inherent desire to achieve and exceed expectations/requirements
• Good communication skills
• Assertive and ability to meet deadlines
• Computer and numeric skills.
• Sense of urgency
