CA (SA)

Articles complete with 2 – 4 years’ experience

CIMA complete

BCom in Cost & Management Accounting

Skills & Experience:

Excellent Excel skills & solid understanding of accounting software principles

Essential Manufacturing, Factory and production experience

Syspro package

Sound knowledge of statutory regulations

Analytical and numerate

Strong attention to detail

Implementation of internal controls and getting the production team’s buy-in

Strong EQ and IQ

Job Description:

Reporting directly to the Financial Director, your main role will be to deal with all costing aspects of the business as well as various management accounting issues. You will work with the Accountant to ensure increased efficiency and output of the Finance department.

Cost Accounting:

Analysing Bill of Material per model, reporting on variances and corrective action

Reporting on currency variances on Boms and corrective action

Highlighting aspects of the Bom that need to be rectified and actioning these with production / logistics managers

Costings to be done of options

Adhoc costings required by other departments

Costings involved with new model development

Labour hours analysis and reporting

Management Accounting:

All aspects relating to control and management of supplier prices
