For the Full Spectrum of Procurement: supply chain, logistics, purchasing and quality control/expediting.
A Change Agent that can make-it-happen, decisive and can take charge (responsible and accountable) and use your initiative to implement continuous improvements.

Ideal Incumbent: In-depth knowledge of procurement and global sourcing, a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience, including leadership experience within Procurement.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain senior stakeholder relationships. Strong operational leadership skills.

Position details:

Reports to: Group Regional Procurement Manager and Country Manager.
Primary purpose: Manage procurement execution in country, continuously improve resource efficiency and ensure implementation of global procurement strategies and best practice way of working..

Job description / core competencies:
Ensures execution of Procurement activities to comply with business requirements for cost, time, quality and risk minimization.
Engages with business units? Management, on strategic as well as tactical procurement related matters, to ensure correct and timely involvement.
Manages and develops the country procurement management team in purchasing, logistics, quality control / expediting.
Drives efficiency through resource and footprint optimization, offshoring and implementation of best practice across all procurement functions in the country.
Leads the implementation of and compliance to procurement policies, processes and reporting of KPI’s in alignment with Group directives.
Builds strategic procurement and sourcing competencies throughout the country procurement to engage in global initiatives as well as running local activities in alignment with Group Procurement.
Ensure savings effectiveness through compliance to implemented global category initiatives.
Where relevant, oversee procurement organisations in assigned countries outside of home country.
Ensure compliance to transformation targets in terms of Preferential Procurement, Supplier- and Enterprise Development.

Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Bachelor degree, Masters degree preferred, in relevant area; CIPS member
In-depth knowledge of procurement and global sourcing
A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience, including leadership experience within Procurement
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain senior stakeholder relationships
Strong operational leadership skills.
