Our client, a reputable Marketing and Management Consultancy in Somerset West, is seeking a professional Copywriter to join their dynamic team. The company provides a range of specialised marketing, media and training services to leading businesses all over South Africa targeting Professional Services Marketing. They assist clients in implementing creative, cost-effective and result-oriented strategies to maintain and grow their firms.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Familiarising themselves with the product, target audience and competitor activities in the market
• Proofreading copy to check for spelling and grammatical errors
• Amending, revising or redeveloping adverts / campaigns in response to feedback from management
• Producing original, clear, and credible ideas and messages
• Being able to work under pressure as the position will occasionally experience tight deadlines

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• Relevant tertiary qualification (English Language, Creative Writing, Copywriting or Journalism)
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Intermediate Word and Outlook Skills
• Ability to write good, clear copy in a variety of marketing styles
• Excellent teamwork, communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
• Creativity and imagination
• An understanding of your target audience and marketing strategies

Salary on offer: R 8000 – R 15 000 p/m
