• Grade 12
• Relevant Tertiary qualification
• Pastel evolution experience essential
• Previous staff management experience
• Seeking an energetic, self-driven person who is looking at being integrated into a dynamic administration team with options of managing a small team of 2 to 5 people.
• Must be willing and able to learn and contribute toward dynamic global processes and reporting requirements.
• The candidate’s primary position will be that of a credit controller which will demand 50% of their time and would require them to understand the technicalities relating to granting of credit and collecting outstanding debt.
• The candidate’s daily tasks will entail maintaining the debtors book in all respects,
• collecting outstanding balances,
• capturing cashbook receipts,
• processing credit notes,
• maintaining debit orders,
• maintaining accounts held under short-term finance arrangements,
• enforcing and controlling the company’s lend policies as well as processing of credit applications. The candidate must be able to communicate fluently and respectfully, verbally and in writing, with our customers who are mainly medical professionals.
• Month end entail statements to be sent out timeously as well as month-end reports to head office. The secondary function would be a supportive whereby the candidate would support the processes headed by other team members which would include approving and authorising specific daily or periodic processes.
• The candidate must have an in-depth understanding of financial reports, trail balances with the ability to extract and utilise financial data.
• The candidate must be able to use Microsoft Excel on an intermediate to advanced level. Operational understanding of VAT and Tax legislation, the Companies Act and Pastel Evolution
