Credit Controller (AA only), Port Elizabeth - Ref: 1050501-10

Our client currently has a vacancy for a Credit Controller to be responsible for the day-to-day management and collection of outstanding debtors.

The successful incumbent will hold the relevant qualifications and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Job Description

• Debtors Management – Banking allocation of cash and payments, full credit control on selected key accounts, manage over credit limit customers.
• Information – Maintain account status and provide feedback to Supervisor, manage over credit limits within portfolio.
• Documents – Customer liaison correspondence, customer statements and invoices, debtors aging analysis update and update customer masterfile.
• Reporting – Update age analysis to relevant sales personnel, debtor’s reconciliation when required.
• Policies and Procedures – Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to, initiate dunning process letters for delinquent customers.
• Banking – Ensure all customer receipts are fully allocated as per remittance.

Educational Requirements

• Post matric studies in credit management or financial management

Professional Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in credit control and credit management
• Computer literacy skills at an advanced level
