An FMCG company based in Centurion is looking for a Creditors/ Accounts Payable Clerk. The ideal candidate must speak fluent Afrikaans and must be able to deal with high volumes and big book values. Pastel Evolution will be highly advantageous. Please email your CV to ****@*****.***

• Minimum Matric, but it will be an advantage to have a tertiary qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years creditors related experience.
• Excellent Computer literate skills
• Pastel Evolution / Pastel system essential
• supervisory experience
• Fluency in Afrikaans is a minimum requirement 

Job Responsibilities

• Accurate and correct processing of sundry invoices
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and credit notes
• Creditor Reconciliations in Excel and resolve reconciling items
• Reconcile supplier accounts with monthly statements
• Prepare all payment reconciliations and ensure payments to suppliers are carried out promptly
• Prepare monthly payments to suppliers
• Adherence to internal control procedures, e.g. invoices to be authorised, purchases to be validated, job cards to be obtained
• Manage creditors age analysis on a monthly basis
• Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
• Prepayments
• Financial Year End Accruals
• Complete Credit applications
• Performing adhoc duties as required
• Resolving of queries
• Take ownership of difficult accounts / queries to ensure resolution of query
• supervising junior creditors clerks
• coach and mentor junior creditors clerks
• assign and monitor clerical and administrative responsibilities of creditors clerks
