Our client in the plastic Industry is looking for a Creditors Clerk who will be based in Durban

Key responsibilities:
Receive creditor’s invoices and delivery notes from Engineering, Distribution and Admin with the accompanying signed requisition and purchase order numbers. Collate all documents and verify that they are correct.
Match invoices with purchase order numbers and requisitions and confirm pricing on invoice against purchase orders.
Match invoices and delivery notes and verify signatures.
Capture credit invoices on Syspro.
Query all discrepancies, outstanding invoices and purchase orders with suppliers.
Monitor payment schedule and ensure that payments are made timeously.
Maintain supplier data on the system; addresses and additional information via work flow
File all quotations and supporting documents.
Ensure month end and year end creditors are correct.
Reconcile all accounts to statement by the 15th of the month
Complete all credit applications & open new supplier accounts
Calculate all Normal time, over time & stand by hours
Process hours in excel an forward to HR torque.
Process all deductions
Process all staff leave & payments for leave
Process new staff in the system
Processing of wage increases
Calculate & process annual leave & annual bonus
Handle all changes to various deductions (e.g. Garnishees, medical aid etc)
Create & submit schedules for UIF, Provident Fund, Union, Funeral benefits Garnishees etc
Print weekly payslips
Handle all wage queries
Check all clock cards with Labour broker
Manually calculate all hours on clock card
Manually enter all hours into spreadsheet
Liaise with Labour broker on all clocking & queries
Sort out all clocking errors & non-payment queries
Check labour brokers invoices matches to schedule

Qualifications and Requirements
Matric
Accounting qualification
Exposure to Syspro or a similar system will be an advantage.
