A leading company in the Financial Services sector is seeking a Creditors Clerk. Some of the duties of the position will include: managing the accounts payable department and is ultimately responsible for the efficient payment of all company invoices in a timely fashion; Ensure the smooth running of the Accounts Payable department; Preparation of payment files; Performing the month end closing process and checking and signing off of reconciliation of creditor’s accounts; Maintain excellent working relationship with external supplier; Ensure the Accounts Payable team are replying to all queries in a timely manner and all queries are dealt with correctly and efficiently; Motivating and leading the team you will also lead the way in developing processes and efficiencies; Performance management of staff; Regular reporting and analysis to key senior managers in the business; Ad-hoc duties to support the business; and assist staff with difficult suppliers and reconciliations of creditors accounts; management of a large team (±35 staff members).
