Purpose of role:
Working within a team environment the primary focus of this role will be analyse, forecast and optimise data performance. In addition, this role will be required to assist data team members with the management of internal and external movement of data, as well as to provide technical support to peers and stakeholders.

Educational Requirements
• Statistics related degree is a pre-requisite
• IT-related modules as part of tertiary studies would be an advantage

Experience
Experience and high level of expertise in the following is required:
• Data analysis, mining and modeling
• Microsoft Excel
• Statistical software packages such as R, SAS or Statistica

Experience of the following would be very useful
• MS SQL Server
• SQL Server Analysis Services
• SQL Server Integrated Services
• SQL Server Reporting Services
• MS Power pivot

Key performance areas:
Data analytics (50%)
• Analyse past consumer behavior, client and credit data to predict future sales and billing outcomes
• Providing a technical solution so users can understand the data available for each campaign at any time
• Defining and advising datasets for various sales campaigns
• Maintain internal client scorecards
• Ad-hoc projects and investigations e.g. working with external consultants to improve data quality

Lead data management (30%)
• Ensure accuracy and data integrity of lead data
• Maintain the centralized data structure for the optimal management of the lead database ensuring constant enrichment of the data set by appending data from dialing outcomes, contactability, approval rates, credit information and customer Information
• Management of large data sources including dialer , sales, logistics , billing , credit and customer scoring databases
• Ensure the meeting of the call centre objectives around the provision of quality data sets for the Sales Campaigns
• Monitoring the ongoing quantity and quality of data for sales campaigns
• Ensure compliance for campaigns dialing rule

Reporting (30%)
• Maintain internal reporting platform encompassing all relevant data sources
