You would be responsible for maintaining a complete debt collection portfolio using the supporting infrastructure (Excalibur Debt Collection Manager, Telephony and Quality Assurance Systems) by following procedures as set out by our client to achieve successful recovery.

• Advise and influence clients’ customers on the payment options for debt recovery.
• Handle each call promptly and in the correct manner, updating records accordingly.
• Input customer related data accurately and efficiently.
• Responsible for resolving disputes.
• Manage customers who are resistant to agent contact by remaining polite, tactful, honest and firm.
• Decide on the correct action when negotiating payments.
• Be persuasive, persistent and self-motivated.
• Show empathy, assertiveness, tact and resilience
• Negotiate the best solution for all parties involved
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of Grade 12 required.
- Read, Write and Speak Zulu, Sotho, Xhosa and English preferable
- Good telephone etiquette
- Typing speed of 35 words per minute
- 2 years’ experience will be beneficial
Salary: R 3 500 pm + incentives up to R 15 000 pm 3-month probation period
