We’re a fast growing Financial Services company and we are looking for Administration Clerks to join our Cape Town team. This is a very exciting role and the successful candidate will be faced with new challenges every day. He / she will be responsible in assisting with the smooth running of the Debt Review & Administration department.

Key Performance Areas

Under the management / direction of the Team Manager, the Debt Review & Administration Clerk has the following responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Attend to the Debt Review & Administration order matters on behalf of the company
• Liaise directly with the Debt Counsellors & Administrators to obtain all the documentation pertaining to the Debt Review / Administration Order process
• Follow up with customers to obtain the Debt Counsellor / Administrator contact details if no details are available on Excalibur
• Provide Debt Counsellors / Administrators with a certificate of balance for each matter
• Evaluate and approve or decline proposals received from Debt Counsellors
• Liaise with Debt Counsellors and Administrators telephonically / via email
• Monitor that the payments are made according to the Court orders and /or proposals
• Liaise directly with the debt counsellors and administrators to follow up on payments not received
• Follow the allocation of payment process if proof of payment is received where the payments do not reflect on the matter
• Update the progress notes on Excalibur
• Attend to ad hoc enquiries from customers, debt counsellors or administrators

Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12)
• A min of 1 year working experience within an outbound debt collections environment / outbound sales environment.
• Credit and Criminal clear

• Min. of intermediate level of Excel, Word, Outlook, Windows Explorer
• Strong / advanced understanding of Excalibur operations
• Able to listen effectively and provide feedback

Working Hours
Monday – Fridays: You will be required to work an 8.25 hour shift per day scheduled between 07:00 and 15:45
Saturdays: You will be required to work a maximum of 2 Saturdays per month, a 6 hour shift on each Saturday between 08:00 and 14:00
