DEBTORS CLERK - WELLINGTON

Our Client, a well-known Logistics and Transport company based in Wellington has an opportunity for a Disciplinary Officer. This role will be responsible for all disciplinary processes, hearings, as well as OHS role. Applications with a tertiary qualification in Law, e.g. LLB with 2 – 3 years’ experience need apply.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Debtors Clerk will be primarily responsible for Invoicing, financial administration, compiling data, amongst other functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Processing of customer invoices and credit notes
Sending customer statements at month end
Following up on outstanding customer balances
Management of new customer process
Participate in credit review meetings
Ensure compliance of credit approval and regular credit review

Education and Experience:
Matric
Relevant finance related, post-matric qualification
At least 5+ years relevant debtors experience in a similar role
Relevant experience within the Transport & Logistics industry preferable
Strong communication skills
Fluent in written and spoken English
Intermediate to advanced level MS Excel skills
Ability to take ownership of own work with limited supervision
Management of work to the agreed deadlines
Excellent attention to detail
Eager to learn and take on new responsibilities
Flexible to change as the business grows
