A Management Consultancy company specializing in the travel industry needs a Debtors Manager!
This role reports to the Financial Operations Manager.

Duties:
• Provide leadership, management and oversight to the Debtors team in terms of: delivery of invoices and statements, collection of monies owing, leadership and management.
• Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the day to day Accounts Receivable Functins
• Direct and coordinate the Accounts Receivable and Cllections functions including:
• Reconciliations of invoices to client statements
• Clearing of Account queries
• Receipt of client payments
• Management and Client reporting
• Position the Debtors department as the Regional face of Finance for the new client on-boarding processes
• Ensure you are an active member of the Finance Management team
• Communicate regularly with all stakeholers on Debtors, credit management and collections issues
• Establish work standards, develop objectives and design/maintain effective work-flows and operating procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assist the Financial Operations Manager in year-end audits
• Actively participate in strategic initiatives and special projects when required or assigned
• Financial Relationship Management

Requirements:
• University degree/Diploma in Accounting or Business administration
• Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience working in Accounts Receivable in a Management/Supervisory capacity
• Strong systems background
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, particularly Excel
• Previous experience in the travel industry would be advantageous
