Responsibilities:
Ensure delivery vehicles are dispatched every day and provide an efficient service to Company customers
Ensure driver reconciliations are balanced and investigated when needed
Conduct trade visits
Identify reasons implications and solutions for all operational delivery problems
Plan and manage leave
Manage KPI’s and reduce costs
Manage daily tracking
Manage subordinates and conduct regular meetings
Manage crate losses and uplifts
Manage and reduce overtime and illegal overtime
Manage daily route profitability
Assist with daily route planning

Requirements:
A three (3) year applicable tertiary qualification in Logistics Management
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an FMCG environment of which 3 years must be in the Distribution Department
Good computer knowledge of AS 400 and Ms: Office Package and ERMS and DRM
Assertive approach with good interpersonal skills who can work independently
Good knowledge of administrative and financial processes
Must be willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
Valid driver’s license
