A specialized dental practice located in Gardens, Cape Town urgently requires a qualified and registered dental nurse. This job is for someone who is keen to learn and who is prepared to work hard and be given the opportunity to work for a world renowned specialist.
Your responsibilities would be to perform all the usual duties associated with chairside assisting as 2nd nurse as well as to take photographs and videos during surgery, X-rays (including pans and 3-D scans) and consultation notes. You would work very closely with the 1st nurse who has been with the practice for 16 years.
Periodontal / implant experience would be 1st prize in terms of experience, however this is not essential as training will be given. What is crucial is the ability to be a fast learner, handle pressure and to pay attention to detail.
You would need to be registered with the HPCSA and be computer literate. Knowledge of the program Exact would be advantageous. Practice hours are from 8h00 to 17h00 week days only.
