Private Hospital seeks a seasoned Deputy Nursing Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• As Deputy Nursing Manager you will be required to manage 9 Theatres + 2 Endoscopic Theatres
• In addition, the Deputy Nursing Manager will oversee NICU, Labour & Post Natal Wards as well as Day Ward
• Assist in Risk Management
• Quality Management of all relevant UM’s and process
• Assist with budgeting and operations.

Applicants for this position must:

• Degree / Diploma in Nursing with minimum 5 years post basic experience within a Theatre Environment
• Additional qualification in Theatre Nursing is a pre-requisite ie: must be Theatre Trained
• A relevant Management qualification would be hugely advantageous
• Proven Management ability and strong Leadership ability
• 3 – 5 year’s Nursing experience within a Private Hospital setting
• Current registration with South African Nursing Council
• Have good, clean, contactable references – this is crucial
